If you enjoy having a a drink ever so often, keep your money out of the casino if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your purse, your billfold, and keep all cash, plastic credit and cheques at home. Take only the cash you anticipate to use on drinks, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to burn and keep the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Just realistic. You may well have a profit after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to hook a marathon roll at a smokin craps game. Keep that adventure because it is as brief as it gets if you regularly consume alcohol and wager. The two simply do not mix.
Keeping your moola back at the hotel might be a little dramatic, but precautionary measures for dramatic behavior is essential. If you wager to win, then don’t consume alcohol and play. If you like to blow your $$$$ without a worry, then consume all the gratuitous beer you can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and cheques to toss into the mix of going after losses after your bombed head loses every little thing!
Let me to carry this 1 step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then hop on the net to wager in your favorite casino either. I love to beverage from the comfort of my condo, however considering that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit at my fingertips, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.
How come? Even though I do not consume alcohol a lot, once I drink alcohol, it’s clearly enough to cloud my judgment. I wager, so I do not drink when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t bet when you do. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and costly, drink.
